Simple Machines

November 24th. program is FULL.

Look around your house for some “junk.” Bring items that:
• Are “junk”, that means you do NOT want them back
• Are no bigger than your hand
• Are NOT sharp
• Are clean
• Could be used to build creative structures! (Examples: small pieces of wood; string; old Legos or building blocks you DON’T need; fabric; play dough; Styrofoam meat trays; dry markers; just about any “junk” will do -- be creative! )

We will be sharing our “junk” during the program. If there is something special you want to build with, put it in a separate bag and label it with your name.

After experimenting with simple machines, you will build a structure that has at least one simple machine in it. Who will create the most amazing, creative structure?
